Created whilst on The Art Of Navigation retreat in September 2018 using wood from the weeping ash tree that stands outside my bedroom window.

 

Late one July evening I saw, about half way up this amazing old tree, a vertical split which opened along the length of the trunk. the whole of the top half of the tree sagged and twisted as it fell, the previously uppermost branches sweeping the ground.
